We need to experience the greater Africa in our lifetime. Most of our parents dreamed of it and waited for years that never came — only met, again and again, with more disappointment. We who have lived in our host countries have seen what good cities, working power, fair markets and dignified work look like — and we know it is possible at home. So instead of complaining and talking about it with no action, we are putting our money where our mouths have been.
We the people make a country — not any government. The pool system unites us for one cause: build one living-standard city, prove the model, then continue the same model around Africa — connecting the continent down to everywhere around the world. Africa industrialised. Africa producing what it consumes and selling to the world. Economic independence on our own terms, in our lifetime.
For decades, the African diaspora has poured talent, money and labour into building other people's countries, while opportunities back home were lost to mismanagement and mistrust. Afrisovera is here to change that. How Payments Work
Stripe is the payment institution — we are the platform
Whether you're buying from a marketplace seller, booking a ticket through Avena, or placing a property deposit, every payment goes through Stripe — an FCA-authorised Electronic Money Institution (firm ref 900665). Afrisovera is the platform that connects buyers and sellers; Stripe is the regulated institution that holds and routes the money.
You pay via Stripe. Stripe holds the funds. Delivery is confirmed. Stripe releases to the seller. If there's a dispute, Stripe's regulated process handles it. Afrisovera never holds your money.
Verified people: every member is identity-verified, so there's a real person behind every account — no bots, no duplicates.
Accountable structure: Afrisovera is a UK company, not an anonymous app. As a platform we connect you to verified sellers and Stripe-regulated payment flows.

For any deal where you need confidence before releasing money, Afrisovera's Safehold service routes payments through Stripe — an FCA-authorised Electronic Money Institution. Members agree on terms; the buyer pays via Stripe; Stripe holds the funds until delivery is confirmed; then Stripe releases to the seller. If something goes wrong, Stripe's regulated dispute process applies. Afrisovera is the platform — we never hold your money.

If you witness fraud, corruption, abuse of office, or a security threat — here or anywhere — you can report it, with an anonymous option that strips your identity before the report reaches our team.
