You pay through our payment partners in pounds sterling. For anything that involves a delivery — a marketplace order, a Safehold agreement, an event ticket, an investment into a development — the money is held in escrow and only released to the other side once the agreed delivery is confirmed. If something goes wrong, you can raise a dispute, the evidence is reviewed, and held funds go to whoever the decision favours. Create a free account, then explore the pillar that interests you and register your interest. Registering interest is exactly that — an expression of interest only. No money is taken at that stage and it is not an investment offer. When a project is ready and the structure is in place, we set out the specifics before anyone commits, and any funds tied to a deal are held in Safehold escrow. See the roadmap for how it works.

Afrisovera Buyer Protection is our guarantee that every purchase on the Marketplace is secure. Similar to Amazon's A-to-Z Guarantee:

• Your payment is held securely until you confirm delivery
• You have 30 days to return any item for a full refund
• If there's a dispute, our team mediates to ensure fair resolution
• Funds are only released to sellers after you're satisfied

Our 30-Day Return Policy protects both buyers and sellers:

• For Buyers: Request a return within 30 days of purchase. Ship the item back to the seller.
• For Sellers: Receive the returned item and perform a Quality Assurance (QA) inspection to verify the item's condition.
• Refund: Once the seller confirms the item has returned in original condition, the refund is processed automatically.

This protects merchants from fraudulent returns while ensuring buyers can shop with confidence.

To sell on the Marketplace:

• Create an account (free)
• Click "Start Selling" on the marketplace page
• Submit your verification documents (Government ID and business document)
• Wait for approval (typically 24-48 hours)
• Once approved, start listing your products!

All sellers agree to our Merchant Agreement, which includes compliance with Buyer Protection policies.

Once a seller ships your order, you'll receive tracking information via email and in your Orders dashboard. We support live tracking for major couriers including DHL, FedEx, Royal Mail, UPS, and more. Simply click the tracking link to see real-time updates on your shipment's location.

Afrisovera Safehold is our escrow service — the guardian of your money. It lets two people agree a deal for a service, partnership or transaction outside the marketplace, and holds the money safely until the work is delivered. Whether you are hiring a freelancer, commissioning a project, or setting up a business agreement, Safehold provides:

• Secure fund holding until service is delivered
• Verified identity of all parties
• Dispute resolution through our mediation team
• Full transaction history and documentation

• Post your service request or browse available offers
• When you find a match, start a Safehold agreement
• Both parties agree to terms and the funds are held securely
• Once the service is delivered, release the funds or request mediation

Our Avena platform allows organizers to create, promote, and sell tickets for events of any size:

• For Organizers: Create events, set ticket prices, manage capacity, and track sales in real-time
• For Attendees: Browse events, purchase tickets, and receive digital tickets instantly
• Digital Tickets: Each ticket has a unique QR code for secure, fraud-proof entry
• Age Verification: Events can require age verification for restricted content

• Go to the Avena page and click "Create Event"
• Fill in event details: name, date, location, description, and ticket price
• Upload event imagery and set capacity limits
• Submit for approval (typically instant for verified organizers)
• Share your event link and start selling tickets!

All ticket sales are processed through our secure payment system, and funds are transferred to organizers after the event.

Refund policies are set by individual event organizers. Check the event details before purchasing. If an event is cancelled by the organizer, all ticket holders receive automatic refunds. For disputes, contact our support team.

You deal with a real, accountable entity, not an anonymous app. No investment is ever risk-free, and we set out the specifics of each project before you commit.

Shield is our integrity-reporting channel. If you witness corruption, fraud, abuse of office or other wrongdoing — within Afrisovera or anywhere — you can report it confidentially, with an anonymous option that strips your identity before the report reaches our team. We review reports and act on them.
